A GUARANTEED RATINGS SMASH
According to TIME magazine, Al Gore has been proceeding with plans to start a liberal cable network to counteract the pernicious influence of FOX News, among few others.
John Podhoretz has scooped the rest of the media on the proposed schedule for the network. Here is part of it:
* Live at Five with Eric Alterman: 5 p.m.
* Evening News with Sidney Blumenthal: 6:30 p.m.
* Money Matters with Paul Krugman: 7 p.m.
Today: How the Bush Administration Lied
Tomorrow: How the Bush Administration Lied
* CSI: Supreme Court: 8 p.m.
The sleuths uncover a vast conspiracy inside the hallowed halls of America's highest court. Special guest star: Michael Moore.
* Law and Order: Special Political Victims Unit: 9 p.m.
The detectives arrest the conservative members of the Supreme Court. Justice Breyer: Ashton Kutcher.
* Survivor: Palm Beach County: 10 p.m.
The Red Tribe uses underhanded tactics to defeat the Blue Tribe.
This lineup should surpass the ratings of the "Big 3" networks.

Why watch this when I can all ready see/hear at NPR, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and NBC? The Left is hysterical because Fox and talk radio has broken their control over information. Add blogs, which have shed additional light on the traditional media's leftist slant and you have for the first time ture access to all sides of the story. Tis, perhaps, accounts for the rage and fury the tradional media expresses. They still don't get it that the public, other than Morlocks, would like to decide for themselves what is going on rather than have the data being predigested for them.
