ON SECOND THOUGHT...
Last week, I linked to a Eugene Volokh article criticizing a New York Sun editorial that basically equated antiwar protestors with traitors. (I think I have the link chain right.)
Diane has been on the case, and argues that the protestors in question were making little secret of their desire to turn their planned gathering into a violent riot, and that the city was right to prevent them from marching. Here's her latest piece on the subject.

But not rallying.
The point of my series of posts was to point out that the NYPD never wanted to prevent the protesters from rallying.

I still think that the Sun went way too far in its equation of rallying/marching with treason, even given the specific justifications the city had to prevent a march.

LOL! It sure looked like a march. A very large march. A very long march. A very effective march.
BTW, when will the rioting occur? Should we continue waiting?
And, no, I am not surprised to see DIM promoting a white supremacist crazy woman like Diana. Racist loons flock together, hmmm?
